CHIREC IS CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION

ART CAMP

“Talents exhibited inspire, motivate, guide and kindle creativity in the sleeping minds”

This was evident in the Art Camp organized in the school from 9th February to 12th February 2009. Renowned city artists like Mr.M.V.Ramana Reddy, Mr.Akbar, Mr. Hanumatha Rao, Mr. Sadeep Ghosh, Mr. Akshay Anand Singh, Mr.J.Srinivas, Mr. V. Muniswamy and Ms. Lekha Narayan conducted the camp by setting up workstations for these four days on the school campus.

The entire campus was a splash of colour surrounded by little CHIRECIANS drawing and painting whole heartedly in their Art books. The ambience of the school too spelled ART with the Bulletin- Boards displaying pictures of famous artists, both contemporary and old world , there are works and various art forms.

The artists displayed different styles of painting such as Abstract, Semi-realistic, realistic, illusion etc., using different mediums such as Acrylic, Oil, Pen, Water-colours, Charcoal, Glass paints etc.

Art teachers and students from other school too were invited for the camp. Art teachers from CHIREC, Mr. Paul, Mr. Anand and Ms. Sanghamitra too set up stations and displayed their art styles.

Students were exposed to various Art forms and had a wonderful time. It was an enriching experience for them, observing these artists at work and getting useful tips and valuable guidance. And for those students with an artistic talent, ideas and dreams took a flight into creativity. Those with the flair, aptitude and inclination came up with their own little “masterpieces.”

The camp culminated in an Exhibition, which was inaugurated by Ms.Juliet, Public Affairs Officer in the American Consulate. The exhibition was open to parents too. The exhibits were appreciated by all.
