WRITERS' WORKSHOP

A two days workshop in creative writing was conducted by Editor Mr. Bikram Sharma, in the second week of February, 2009.

A group of 30 children attended this workshop, which gave them an insight into various aspects of story writing right from the plot, setting, characterization and climax. It was an enriching experience for our students who interacted with Mr.Sharma and picked up many a tip on writing a good story. Each one of them tried their hand at writing a sample story; with great success.

The workshop proved to be useful for our budding story writers as they got to know how to introduce coincidences, write climax and how to keep their readers hooked to their stories. They even wrote a sample story. It was an interactive session where our young writers cleared many of their doubts and picked up many tips on writing good interesting stories.

SCULPTURE CAMP

A sculpture camp was held during the last week of February, 2009. Renowned sculptors like C.H. Ramjee, V.S.Ravi Kanth, Y.Shiva Rama Chary, M.V. Ramana Reddy, Robert. V.J. and Jay Prakash participated in the camp and demonstrated their skills in sculpting using various mediums
The students were captivated by the dexterity with which the sculptors transformed wood, terracotta and clay into marvelous objects of beauty.
